The Seward Explorer 30" Trunk is the perfect storage solution for any room in your home and on the go. This wheeled trunk is a camper's ideal packing solution as well as a dorm dweller's mobile furniture piece with ample storage. It features classic nickel hardware with black binding and nickel corner guards. The dual lock-down latches help keep dust and moisture out. Happy with Seward Trunk

I was thrilled to get my Seward trunk. Beautiful. I was disappointed when I looked inside. The inside material had been torn and then glued back down. Not very pretty. This trunk should have been discounted. Overall, I love the quality of the trunk. I do wish they still used real wood as opposed to the engineered compressed wood pulp. Aesthetically it is beautiful.

Compared to older model

I have one of your trunks from... maybe the mid-2000's. I assume it's one of yours because it looks virtually the same except that the quality is much better but I paid much less for it. The edges on the older model are covered in what looks like leather. The new model is plastic. The older model had more rivets than the newer model. It also doesn't have the rivet holes popping through on the inside like the newer model does. The one thing I like about the newer model is the rollerblade-type wheels. The older model has hard plastic wheels. Overall, I'm okay with the newer model but I wanted to share what I perceive as areas where I'm seeing quality decline.

Pretty purple, and pretty sturdy!

Ok honestly I wasn't sure about buying this, because of all of the reviews saying it was very flimsy. Well, I took the risk anyway, and I am not disappointed. It's so pretty (purple) and my 32 pound toddler has jumped up and down on top of it on more than one occasion and it didn't give in or anything. Well worth the buy!
